Sacred Sari Throw
A one-of-a-kind, sustainable blanket to curl up under, the Sacred Sari Throw is handcrafted from recycled cotton saris by artisans of Sacred Mark, a workshop with Prokritee in rural Bangladesh. Saris are collected and repurposed into six-layered Sacred Sari Throws by women who have re-trained as artisans having left the red light district sex trade. The name "Sacred Mark" was inspired by Nobel Prize-winning Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore, whose poetry speaks to lives transformed.
